After a series of programs since February 6, 2012 such as movie screening, photography exhibition by IROCKUMENTARY.com (our photographers that joined the exhibition are Agung Hartamurti, Allex Aromatica, Ryan AR, and Lionindra Harviana) Dimas Wisnuwardono, Muhammad Asranur, Gigsplay.com, Helen Clara, and Psikosinema Festival 3 & 4, the fifth Psikosinema Festival, which is organized and promoted by Himpunan Mahasiswa UNIKA Atmajaya had a closing program with music show on February 11, 2012 featured three Jakarta finest bands FLOAT, BONITA and The Hus band, and GRIBS at Salihara Theater, south Jakarta.
Float opened the show that evening nicely. Hotma Roni Simamora and friends appeared more or less 40 minutes in front of hundreds of audience. Before a song titled Pulang, Hotma had a little speech to the audience, He told that once upon a time he opened his facebook and by accident he found a post on his news feed about Angelina Jovanka, who just passed away, and saw her friends conveying their condolence on her facebook. He then tried to find out who she is. In her facebook he found that Angelina Jovanka posted the video clip of Float titled Pulang. And the song Pulang in that evening was dedicated to Angelina Jovanka.
Bonita and The Hus Band who appeared after Float also could make the audience hypnotized with their songs. Quartet Bonita and The Hus Band consists of Bonita (vocal), her husband Adoy (Guitar), Jimmy (Saxophone) and Bharata (Percussion) brought some songs that evening such as Ari, 4 PM, Pesan Untuk Pram, and It’s Over Now.
GRIBS perfomed as the final attraction that evening. The atmosphere directly changed to a rock show. very different from two bands who mentioned above. Quarter GRIBS (Rezanov, Rashta, Arief and their new guitarist Eben) played around 40 minutes and brought their numbers, such as Pejuang, Sinetron Indonesia, Klaten, Serangga Kecil and Rock Bersatu. At their first appearance, GRIBS also played with Bonita.
Overall, Psikosinema Festival 5 run smoothly. And in this opportunity we, Irockumentary.com as a media partner would like to congratulate the committee of Psikosinema for this successful event.
